About GWC Hacks

Are you a young, ambitious student and want to take your first steps in programming? Great! GWC Hacks is a perfect opportunity for you then! Come to Evergreen Valley High School in San Jose, USA on November 23, 2019 and get some real coding experience!


GWC Hacks is a coding competition hosted by the EVHS Girls Who Code club for all coders no matter your experience. It will be divided into 2 divisions: beginners and intermediate/advanced. So you don't have to worry that it will be too easy or too difficult for you! The Organizers aim to introduce coding and competitive programming to students in a local and friendly environment. They will make sure that every student leaves with a new perspective of coding and gains valuable knowledge.


Additionally, you can prepare yourself for the competition by joining a preliminary workshop on November 22, 2019 at 3 - 5 pm at P209, Evergreen Valley High School. The workshop will cover the basics of the material contained in the competition questions. Students with no background in coding are highly recommended to attend! Prizes are waiting for the best at every level, take a look at them below:

How to submit

  1. Join a preliminary workshop on Nov 22 from 3 to 5 pm to prepare yourself for coding the next day.

  2. Come to the competition on Nov 23 at Cougar Hall, Evergreen Valley High School in San Jose, CA, USA.

  3. Have fun coding and get some cool awards!
