Job description
You will work on projects designed to deliver humanitarian services efficiently and responsibly. The main challenge in the project is to design and implement a system, which accepts actions being done offline and in a dispersed environment, while not limiting online capabilities.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Variety of projects such as: Software platform for one of the biggest NGOs in the world, that helps people around the world on a daily basis in countries like Somalia, Guatemala, Ethiopia (https://lmms.org/lmms-solutions/e-voucher/),
- Actively participate in analyzing the tasks if necessary, in order to properly estimate them, i.e. how to approach multitenancy or auto-deployments in new projects,
- Being a part of positive and professional team, which works in Scrum methodology,
- Fixing support tickets when it comes to your round (each week different member or team is responsible for SLA tickets). But don't worry, there is not more than ~15% of service versus new features, and rest of team is willing to help.

Requirements and qualifications
Ideal candidate should have:
- +3 years working experience as a full stack Java Developer (Java, Spring, Angular 8+, Hibernate, Docker, Jenkins, PostgreSql, MySql/MaridDb, Rxjs, Typescript, REST, Jooq),
- Experience in developing software integrations with new solutions,
- Good understanding of the modern enterprise Java stack including the MVC architecture best practices,
- Ability to employ quality control techniques to produce high-visibility customer facing software,
- Ability to come up with development estimates based on high-level business and/or technical requirements,
- A keen interest in emerging technologies and how they might impact future design decisions and strategic directions,
- English C1 skills,
- High level skills: ability to set expectations and accountability, giving/taking feedback, active listening, respecting the contradicting point of views.
