Job description
Join our GMS Tax Technology Team in Krakow as a:
Junior C#/.NET Developer
Our Tax Technology team deals with creating and implementing advanced IT solutions that support wide range of business and tax calculation processes. They are related mainly to international personal income taxes (GMS – Global Mobility Services) and management of human resources. We are localized in Switzerland as well as in Poland. At the moment, we are looking for candidates with passion, who would like to join our rapidly growing team of programmers in Krakow. In our daily work we are focused on creating safe, innovative and ergonomic solutions that join specific business knowledge with new technologies. We support also many world-wide corporations which appreciate the highest level of services we deliver.

Responsibilities
- Creating and implementing modern business applications according to business and technical specification (main responsibility);
- Providing post-implementation services (maintenance) and creating new functionalities for already existing modules;
- Keeping project documentation up to date;
- Providing support to end-users (advice, guidance, assistance and training);
- Participation in deployments processes as well as cooperating with end-users in terms of ongoing problem solving of their business-related issues.
Requirements and qualifications
- University degree (Bachelor or Master);
- Practical knowledge of object-oriented programming (preferred C# language and .NET framework) as well as SQL databases (preferred MS SQL Server);
- Very good English language skills enabling reading technical documentation and smooth communication with team members;
- Analytical thinking, positive energy, proactivity, „I can do” attitude;
- Ability to work effectively in a team as well as in a scattered environment.
Additional assets:
- Knowledge of web-based programing with usage of MVC/Razor engine or similar ones;
- Practical knowledge of Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS;
- Experience in implementation and usage of web/windows services;
- Ability to use different testing approaches (TDD, BDD, etc.);
- Knowledge of CI/CD environments;
- Experience in cloud (Azure, etc.);
- Familiarity with version control systems, design patterns and ability to use them in practice.
