Responsibilities

Incident / Service Request Management (according to ITIL) for our PLM solution Windchill from PTC
Development of applications in production, quality management and maintenance
Root cause analysis in case of software related issues
Maintenance and expansion of knowledge database
Implementation of service requests for IT systems and applications

Requirements and qualifications

Degree in the field of mechanical engineering & IT or comparable technical qualification with corresponding practical experience is a must
Most important is a good Java programming knowhow / practical experience in Java programming
Basic understanding of mechanical design process and PLM technology
Knowhow of a PLM application - ideally Windchill
Knowledge of different databases, like MS SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB
Knowledge of the Windows operating system
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, like Access, Excel, World
Good English knowledge for worldwide support activities, German language capability not necessary, but helpful
Strong customer orientation and good communication skills
Solution-oriented and structured way of working
Fun working as part of an international team / active team player
Good analytical thinking ability
