Job description
We were founded in 2016 by a group of IT experts with established backgrounds in software engineering. Today we specialise in technology solutions for industry 4.0, automotive, geospatial, healthcare & life sciences, employee experience & education and financial services industries. Our teams are based internationally - Poland (Wrocław, Kraków, Białystok), UK (Southampton, Bournemouth), Germany (Braunschweig, Munich), Croatia (Zagreb) and USA (Detroit).
We are currently looking for DevOps Engineers for our new internal team. The team will work on infrastructure and migration projects for various external clients. The duties in this position relate, among others, to Azure cloud environments set up.
Responsibilities
- Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
- Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers
- Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
- Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results
- Ensuring that systems are safe safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
- Identifying technical problems and developing software updating and fixes
- Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that Development follows established processes and works as intended
- Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions
- Supporting projects, collaborating with internal and external development teams, environment maintenance, problem diagnosis and resolution, running and validation of data exchange processes.
Requirements and qualifications
- Min. 3 years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer
- Experience with one or more programming and scripting languages, such as Python, Java, Go, C/C++, Perl, Ruby, JavaScript and Bash
- Significant experience in Windows and Linux operating system environments
- Knowledge of Azure cloud platform (AWS and/or GCP nice to have)
- Good hands-on knowledge of Configuration Management and Deployment tools like – Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Terraform etc.
- Knowledge of Git and Git workflows
- Experience in developing Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery pipelines (CI/ CD)
- Experience with Agile Software Development methodologies
- Fluent English
