Job description
Who we are
Our consultants are part of the international team providing business intelligence and other software services to customers in Ireland and the UK.
We like to approach people in a very individual way. Everyone will get a chance to use their strengths in the best way possible to solve a particular problem or to complete a project.
Development plan
You will be working with experienced colleagues often with 15+ years of experience in the field who will guide you and set challenges that will ensure that you will remain on the learning path.
As you grow your skillset and experience you would be given new, more senior responsibilities including participation in the development of the new products.

Responsibilities
Role of the Application Support Engineer
- Work with a portfolio of business applications developed for our customers in Ireland, mainly based on JAVA, and .Net platforms with logic embedded within T-SQL stored procedures
- Ensure day to day smooth operation of applications that are key to our customer business
- Resolve issues and apply fixes to existing code
- Develop new functionalities and changes to existing business applications
- Communicate with customers and lead issue resolution
- Communicate with internal teams and escalate more complex issues and work with more experienced developers on the resolution
Requirements and qualifications
What we require
- Minimum 2 years of experience in T-SQL programming
- Excellent communication skills with at least B2 level of English language
- Knowledge of JAVA or .NET programming platforms, ideally 2 years in one of these
- Knowledge of Linux / UNIX and Windows operating systems
- Ideally, the candidate would have a degree in computer science or a related field
