Automation Nation is the premier event for ConnectWise Automate (formerly LabTech) partners looking to maximize their learning, network with like-minded solutions providers, and connect with experts and top-rated technology vendors.
Service technicians, operations managers and business executives alike will find value in attending Automation Nation. With sessions appealing to both the technical and non-technical audience, Automation Nation has something for every role within the technology industry.
Automation Nation 2017 is bringing you not one, but two opportunities to showcase your ConnectWise Automate expertise. You have the chance to solve real world problems leveraging the ConnectWise Automate Computer Management Screen and the Ignite Manager
and of course participate in a little friendly competition with your fellow ConnectWise Automate partners. Check out the details of both the Script-a-thon and Hack-a-thon below and see which challenge is right for you:
- The Script-a-Thon - the Script-a-Thon is open to anyone that has used, seen or heard of ConnectWise Automate scripting. You have the option to participate alone or as a team of up to three people. Each contestant will be given a predefined problem at the start of the Automation Nation Script-a-Thon and contestants will have two hours to solve the problem. Ready to show off your scripting skills and compete for the title of ConnectWise Automate Scripting Champion?
- The Hack-a-Thon -
the Hack-a-Thon requires a bit more skill and expertise. Contestants should be familiar with the ConnectWise Automate SDK, VB.NET or C# and Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF). You have the option to participate alone or as a team of up to three people. Keep in mind only 10 teams can take on this challenge.
Each contestant will be given a few different scenarios to solve and then leverage their ConnectWise Automate skills to create an integration that interacts with the Ignite Manager and/or the Computer Management screen.
