Rules
§ 1. General provisions
- These rules set out the terms of participation in the online competition called “Mini Challenge by ChallengeRocket” (the “Mini Challenge”).
- The organiser of the Mini Challenge is ChallengeRocket Sp. z o. o. (the “Organiser”).
- The Mini Challenge is organised online via the ChallengeRocket platform from 16 to 23 April 2026.
- Participation in the Mini Challenge is free of charge and voluntary.
- By joining the Mini Challenge, the participant accepts these Rules.
§ 2. Eligibility
- The Mini Challenge is open to natural persons who:
- are at least 18 years old,
- are registered participants of the 11th CASSINI Hackathon: Space for Water - Poland edition,
- meet the participation requirements applicable to the hackathon itself.
- Employees of the Organiser and their immediate family members may not participate in the Mini Challenge.
- Participation in the Mini Challenge is on an individual basis only.
§ 3. Rules of the Mini Challenge
- The Mini Challenge consists of completing a short online quiz related to water, space data, and selected local problem contexts.
- Each participant may enter the Mini Challenge only once.
- It is prohibited to use multiple accounts, attempt the quiz more than once, or undertake any actions aimed at unfairly influencing the results.
- In the event of a breach of these Rules, the Organiser has the right to disqualify the participant.
§ 4. Winners and prizes
- Participants’ results will be determined based on the number of points scored.
- In the event of a tie, the higher ranking will be determined by the shorter completion time or earlier submission time, in accordance with the technical rules adopted by the Organiser.
- The Organiser will award prizes to the 3 participants with the best scores.
- The prizes will consist of promotional gadgets or other small promotional physical prizes, selected by the Organiser.
- In order to receive a prize, the participant must:
- be a registered participant of the 11th CASSINI Hackathon: Space for Water - Poland edition, and
- be physically present onsite during the Hackathon Weekend in Wrocław.
- If a participant does not meet the above conditions, they will lose the right to the prize, and the Organiser may award it to the next person in the ranking.
- The winners will be announced during the Hackathon Weekend, in the manner decided by the Organiser.
§ 5. Personal data
- The controller of participants’ personal data is the Organiser.
- Personal data will be processed for the purpose of conducting the Mini Challenge, selecting the winners, and awarding the prizes.
- Providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary in order to participate in the Mini Challenge.
- Participants have the rights provided by applicable data protection laws, including the right to access, rectify, erase, or restrict the processing of their data.
- In matters relating to personal data, participants may contact the Organiser at: support@challengerocket.com.
§ 6. Final provisions
- The Organiser reserves the right to interpret these Rules and resolve any matters not covered herein.
- The Organiser reserves the right to amend these Rules for important reasons, provided that such amendment does not infringe the acquired rights of participants.
