More about the panel discsussions

(detailed event agenda below)

Duration of one discussion: about 45 minutes

3-4 panelists + 1 moderator for each discussion

Panel Discussion 0:

Development, autonomy and responsibility of AI systems.

The panel focuses on how AI will impact the way we work, communicate, and innovate in the digital industry and where the limits of the autonomy of AI systems are.

Topics:

  1. AI in the creative and design process: The role of AI in the design of products and services – from idea to implementation. How AI drives innovation and growth in the technology industry
  2. AI and automation: The impact of automation on traditional work methods and their evolution. Man's new place in the era of thinking machines.
  3. The role of AI in decision-making: to what extent should AI have autonomy in decision-making.
  4. Liability of AI systems: Who is responsible when AI makes a mistake? Is it an AI developer, a business owner, or the technology itself?
  5. Balance between innovation and control: How to find the balance and where to set the limits of AI development.

Panel Discussion 1:

The Coexistence of Humans and AI: The Future of Software Development.

Topics and course of discussion:

A discussion about the role of humans in the future software development process. A conversation about how the collaboration between humans and artificial intelligence is developing in the context of IT projects.

Panel Discussion 2:

Recruitment in 2030. Will candidates be talking to AI or recruiters?

Topics and course of discussion:

In the USA, an online applicant decided to put a white text "Hire me" on the white background of their resume - it was invisible to humans, but AI read it and executed the command.

This simple story shows how human creativity can find ways to bypass algorithms. At the same time, this trivial example reveals the challenges that HR must face in the era of growing AI influence, opens deeper questions concerning the objectivity of computer assessment, ethics, manipulation, and loopholes in AI systems.

Panel Discussion 3:

The Evolution of AI in Banking and Insurance.

Topics and course of discussion:

In 2017, the Japanese bank Mizuho introduced an AI-based advisory robot designed to personalize financial advice based on individual client profiles.

Initially, the robot known as "Mizuho-bot" gained popularity and the project was perceived as groundbreaking, but over time, problems arose.

Mizuho-bot, although impressive in terms of technology, was unable to understand the complex emotions and needs of humans that often accompany financial decisions. The main wave of criticism spilled out after an elderly person was recommended a risky investment that turned out to be a failure.

Panel Discussion 4:

AI and Creativity: Enhancing or Suppressing Human Imagination?

Topics and course of discussion:

Will the vision of a future where we no longer have to think thanks to AI be realized?

"Human Imagination for Sale: Thanks, AI!" Why bother the brain when the machine can write homework, spit out a marketing campaign strategy, write computer program code, and suggest a recipe for dinner?

Why try to be the new Leonardo da Vinci when AI can create Mona Lisa 2.0 in half a second?

Why have your own opinions? AI will choose them for you.

The whole event will be filmed and its fragments will be distributed on social media for promotional purposes.
