About HackKU

Join HackKU, an annual 36-hour coding competition at the University of Kansas, Lawrence, USA on February 8-10, 2019. Be a part of students society and have a chance to discover different ways of coding and creating something new with pushing the boundaries of technology.

HackKU invites each student (high school, undergraduate or graduate) to this programming challenge. As a participant, you will have access to the MLH Hardware Lab, such as Oculus Rifts, LeapMotions, and Alienware. During the coding contest, you can use APIs, libraries, and frameworks, but can't bring any part of finished code. What's more, you can apply for HackKU with a team (up to 4 members).

Don't worry if you can't code. On the onsite hackathon you will find some workshops. You can join them and learn how to create different things like websites and video games. The organizers also invited several industry mentors and tech talents at the HackKU to help you. What's more, the organizers will prepare chill rooms for rest where you can have a nap.
