Apply if you:


  • Are an amazing QA Specialist with at least 2 years of software testing experience and solid practical knowledge in this area

  • Want to work during “covid time” remotely, and after covid either in Wrocław or remotely – your choice

Responsibilities

In the first month you will:


  • Participate in product training and understand what we do at Piwik PRO
  • Meet your new team and understand who is responsible for what
  • Get acquainted with our testing framework and write your first test cases


In the second month you will:


  • Prepare test scenarios for upcoming features
  • Validate the current state of test coverage and provide your feedback


In the third month you will:


  • Proactively participate in product grooming sessions, delivering your thoughts and observations resulting in test cases in Jira
  • Demonstrate a high level of engagement 
  • Prepare a plan for the next steps of your work and development


Requirements and qualifications

Skillset crucial for success in this role:


  • Ability to design test scenarios and write test cases 
  • Experience in test automation
  • Working knowledge of Python programming language 
  • Practical experience with Pytest
  • Familiarity with Gherkin 
  • Experience working with GIT
  • Previous contact with testing HTTP API
  • Familiarity with tools supporting API tests, e.g. Postman or Insomnia
  • Practical experience with Unix systems
  • The ability to cooperate smoothly with QAs working on other components of the product
  • Attention to detail


Extra assets:


  • Expertise in BDD and at least one test automation tool: Behave / Behat (choose your weapon wisely)
  • Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
  • ISTQB certificate
