AthenaHacks 2018

Thanks to all Participants!

Challenge overview

AthenaHacks 2.0 is happening! Join us on Feb 24-25 for a weekend filled with learning, exploring new topics, and building! AthenaHacks is Southern California's largest all-female hackathon. We work to make it an open and supportive environment for beginners or experienced hackers alike.

Event description

How can I attend? If you identify as a woman, trans, or non-binary, you can attend as a hacker! Otherwise, you can help out as a mentor (technical help for hackers) or volunteer (help the organizers keep AthenaHacks running smoothly)!

More about #AthenaHacks

From hardware to mobile, there are so many fields to explore! We want women to explore their ideas and interests, and are looking forward to some amazing projects!

We're all about helping each other grow! We hope to foster a supportive environment so that each participant at AthenaHacks feels welcome and comfortable.

Right now, only 20% of hackathon participants are women. We hope to fill that gap by providing a comfortable environment that is focused on learning and exploring!

Code of coduct

We want to make AthenaHacks enjoyable for everyone! You can find the code of conduct here.

Applications are due on January 10. Email any questions to
