It is a free competition, which consists of Local Rounds in cities of the whole Europe and Final Round in Novi Sad in Serbia, organised by EESTEC (The Electrical Engineering Students' European Association) . The topic of EC 2018 is Big Data Analysis-underestimated one but with very BIG potential. In Poland there is only one city that take part in the contest- Kraków.
Our main goal is to organise an event that will collect students who want to learn something new, but also the ones, who are keen on programming. EEStech Challenge will consist of two parts: workshops and slow hackathon. Thanks to workshops participants will have an opportunity to gain new knowledge connected to Big Data (especially using its in practice). After that, by doing well prepared tasks, they can check themselves during three days of slow hackathon . The only requirement is to bring your own laptop and remember of positive vibes!
The event is taking place from 5th (thursday) to 7th (saturday) of April mostly in the afternoons. We are providing delicious snacks and great atmosphere :) Details will be available soon on our fanpage on Facebook.
The main prize of EESTech Challenge are return tickets to Novi Sad (Serbia) to Final Round for all 3 members of the winner’s team.
If you are a student between 18 and 26 years old- do not hesitate! Get your friends together and create a team of 3 winners! We won’t leave you alone- you don’t have to be an expert on Big Data analysis. :) We will provide you also a guide, where you can find a lot of useful information.
