NYES is a virtual entrepreneurship competition open to high school students across the nation. It allows students to learn, collaborate, and develop their business plans into ventures suited to impact the world. This competition consists of professional mentoring, guest speaker sessions, business proposal submission and live pitching.
Our mission is to provide students with an opportunity during the summer to advance their visions and ideas with a platform where they can learn, explore, and achieve. Through a four-day virtual competition, students can immerse themselves in the entrepreneurial experience. The competition consists of four phases; live professional mentoring, the business proposal submission, guest speaker sessions, and live pitching.
During the live mentoring/office hours students can receive direct feedback and advice on their pitches and business plans from professionals in the industry. Mentors will also host a Q&A session where they can answer any business or entrepreneurial related questions. During the 2-day live pitch competition, students will present their pitches to the judges via Zoom. Throughout the competition, there will be guest speaker sessions from professionals in the industry as well as student leaders to share their life experiences and entrepreneurial advice.
