Want to join? All you have to do is register. Lion’s den is a two stage hackathon. After registering you’ll be transferred to the pre-selection assignment.
You (or your team) need to fill out the form and complete the assignment, which includes a data analysis and a short personal statement that talks about you and why you want to join us on May 16th-17th. Your statement can be as creative as you want it to be, 30 sec video, 150 words, a graphic, whatever your heart desires and shows your lion heart.
You only have to submit one assignment per team, but you do all have to register. Teams are up to three members max. Less than three? Don’t worry you’ll have the chance to meet new people and pair up at the event. Successful applicants will be notified by email about getting to the next stage.
Solutions
The pre-selection assignment will be the key decision maker for entry to the on-site hackathon on May 16-17th in Warsaw. The assignment consists of three parts on one data set and a personal statement completed in a medium of your choice. You will be judged primarily on the merits of your analysis and the justification of your approach. All tie breakers will take the personal statement into account.
Your solutions can be presented in your medium of choice, and your answers to each section should include 5 key points, per part (15 in total). Your personal statement should be no more than 150 words long if in pdf., 30 sec video, or one A4 equivalent graphic.
Pre-selection submissions will be open until May 13th, 2018.
