A code challenge is an online competition which includes some coding tests and tasks where you solve the problems presented. This competition involves the use of Java and writing code directly onto the ChallengeRocket platform.

You will be able to solve the Nordea Java Challenge by using one of the following languages: Groovy, Java, Scala or Kotlin.

You can solve the tasks in the Nordea Java Challenge anytime you want between Apr 11, 2019 and Jul 11, 2019.

How much does it cost to participate?
It’s free. There’s no entry fee for this Nordea Java Challenge.

How can I apply?
Click the 'I want to participate' button and create your ChallengeRocket account. The next step is to click the 'Start test' button and fill out the registration form. Then you can solve the tasks anytime between Apr 11, 2019 and Jul 11, 2019. Remember that you have only one chance to solve the test - once you start, you have to finish it within 2 hours.

How many times can I try to solve the test?
You have only one chance to solve the test. You must take it in one go, so you are advised to start the test only when you are able to spare 2h. If you leave the test in between, the timer will continue to run in the background and after the time is finished you won’t be able to take the test again.

What are the prizes of the Challenge?
The prizes of the Nordea Java Challenge are as follows: 1st place prize: PLN 8,000, 2nd place prize: PLN 5,000, 3rd place prize: PLN 2,000.
