All about Periods is a community driven platform for raising awareness about Periods.

Poor menstrual hygiene can kill and yet talking about menstruation still remains taboo.We identify with the cause because we too were shy talking about periods in adolescence. But we were the fortunate ones to get access to sanitary napkins, proper exposure and awareness and soon it dawned upon us how “normal” it was to have periods, and there’s nothing to hide it.At the end of the day, we were however left with the thoughts of those unable to get proper counselling, support and awareness about menstruation.

Starting with India, we are trying to get people to talk about periods to make it a normal discussion. We’re using a tech based solution to spread awareness because it has the maximum impact and reach. There is large wave of Indians coming online because of much cheaper internet access and affordable devices by Reliance Jio and other operators.

Also, Anonymity is what Indians need to start getting comfortable about periods.

1. Allaboutperiods Facebook Messenger Chat Bot is a  virtual friend to learn about periods in the most interesting way possible. 
2. Inviting women to share stories (to let little girls know that it is all okay!)
3. Stories featured on allaboutperiods website and monthly subscription mail.
4. Forum (a safe place to ask/discuss/answer - for those who identify as women)

We will also be adding :

• Bot on Whatsapp (as Whatsapp is more common in rural India) 
• Advice videos from Doctors regarding periods and feminine health.
• Feature Inspiring videos of women who have overcome all odds and have excelled in their respective fields
