The main idea for this project was to engage mostly stay at home mums/women who create remarkable handmade creations and introduce it to the world. 

All of these women first - do not have the time to do the marketing themselves, second - do not know how, third - laws in Macedonia have some limiting procedures that makes individual export trading very expensive and complex.

This project should provide good results in several areas:

- increase demand for the products these women are creating;

- make these craftsmen create a solid monthly income,

- merge local craftsmen with others from different countries to exchange experiences;

- take part on international bazars;

- influence the Government to update certain procedures;

- increase country export.

Due to lack of knowledge and time, this project was developed as a website rather than a platform. The ultimate plan is to develop a culture of selling online, provide training on how to manage an online shop and develop a platform.

Hope this short explanation is interesting enough for you to review the website. I just published it, so please apologize if there are some mistakes. 

One more important note - this is a first e-commerce website in Macedonia, not only for handmade products but in general, that is optimized to promote and sell outside Eastern Balkan.

Also, very recently, I started communication with Government sectors that are involved in the tax, custom and regulation process. The idea is to start working closely and improve procedures based on the experience of Eveline's Handmade Gifts.
