Meet Viessmann strategy
Our digital solutions
VitoGuide Mobile
An application for B2B customers, i.e. product installers and Viessmann partners. It is used to pre-launch equipment and connect it to the cloud via a mobile device (bypassing the interface found on the product), enables initial configuration, supports subsequent service actions and provides post-installation support for installers. It helps to view service parameters and allows service technicians to control equipment performance at customers - the app reports faults.
VitoGuide Web
VitoGuide Web: The web application being developed is an innovative solution for online monitoring of heating systems. It allows specialized partners to process service cases faster.
ViCare
Application for B2C customers - users of Viessmann products.
The user interface is beginning to change, moving away from installing displays on devices. The project creates an application that will allow remote control of new Viessmann devices. It also offers the ability to check whether the operation of a heating device is going well (the current operating status of the system). With each device added, an ecosystem of products is created, allowing access to all of them from one place - the mobile device.
ViMove
The app was created for people who want to take part in the Viessmann #ViMove campaign - a Viessmann proprietary project through which each person has an impact on the environment - in exchange for the user's physical activity, trees are planted.
HEMS
HEMS is an energy management system designed for single-family houses.
The essence of the system relies on the service implemented on the communication module that is an integral part of Viessmann solution ranging from electricity storage systems e.g. Vitocharge, through heat pumps such as Vitocal, to wallboxes - home electric car charging points.
The project aims at 3 main goals:
- The first one is to ensure the transparency of energy flow, i.e. its monitoring.
- The second one – even more importantly, the optimization of energy consumption, which translates into maximising autarky and self consumption (consumption of energy produced by own PV system).
- The third aspect is to enhance flexibility management.
ServiceAssistant
The ServiceAssistant is an on-site servicing tool that allows expert installers & Viessmann TD service technicians to service E3-type Viessmann devices. It is an interface for accessing all control units in the respective device.
The application was created to achieve a standardization of the tool landscape at Viessmann. Likewise, a programming method (ODX) known from the automotive sector and laid down in standards was used.
The communication to the device and between the installed control units takes place via CAN bus.
Features include, among others, the ability to:
- diagnose current operating states of boilers incl. viewing current errors & error histories,
- undertake (extended) system configurations,
- commission E3-type spare-parts,
- produce acceptance protocols.
Our embedded solutions
HMI - the OneBase platform
It provides standardized functions (e.g. time windows, room-based control, etc.), which can be used in different products and systems as if from a modular system.
