A self driving robot that travels the field and carries behind it a second robot that will perform agricultural tasks such as: removing weeds, pruning, collecting fruits. How will this project change the world. Help make fruits and vegetables more abundant and improve nutritionReduce the use of pesticides and herbicides, instead of using herbicides, an add-on will be provided to scan the field for weeds and extract them physically. This is a very labor intensive operation that's only possible with AI powered machines. Instead of using pesticides, another add-on will be developed to look for pest and selectively remove them.
Improve productivity of agricultural practices and help raise the income level of small farmers. As AI penetrates more fields and reduces employment, this AI effort aims to make agriculture more profitable so that more people move to the city and back to the farms. Small farms can become more productive and sustainable that small farms.
